Our team has more than 20 years of experience in research on the molecular mechanisms of gene expression regulation at the RNA level.
We identified regulatory elements in the 3’UTR that promote mRNA stability important for cell viability and immune responses, using different animal models and mammal cell lines. In iPLUS Biosciences we apply our scientific expertise in the development of new biotechnological tools to increase the production of mRNA-based therapeutics and recombinant therapeutic proteins.
We are based at the i3S, a transdisciplinary institution developing research and innovation in the Health Sciences at the highest international level. The i3S capitalise the institute’s scientific know-how by translating it into valuable assets for society, thus playing a crucial role in the development of a sustainable and solid regional strategy.
